Wylde & Johnson is a two-man construction group working across the Wirral and Merseyside. We've spent years in groundwork, landscaping and building — and we've seen enough badly-laid patios to know exactly why they fail.

Why our quotes are longer than everyone else's

Everything itemised

You get the drawing, the square metres, every bag of sub-base and every slab listed with a quantity. If you want to buy the materials yourself, we'll quote labour only and hand you the order list.

The dig-out is in the price

Skips, spoil removal and clearing the old patio are priced in, not sprung on you in week two. We tell you how many skips before we start.

Proper build-ups

100 mm of compacted MOT under a patio, 150–200 mm under a drive, full mortar beds, primed slabs. It costs more than a sand blind and it's why ours are still flat in ten years.

One point of contact

You deal with the two of us the whole way through. Specialists we bring in — sparks, engineers — are ones we've used for years.
